Dominion Energy, Haymarket Substation [Oct 2022]

It often takes an entire electrical substation to supply the incredible amount of power needed by a single data center. KT Enterprises [KTE] has worked closely with Dominion Power for a decade to provide landscaping services around their existing and newly-built substations.  Specific plants are chosen to provide a visual screen with an emphasis on plant material that will not get too tall. The quantity and types of plants are also based on the substation location and its public view.  The landscaping around this substation, located right off VA Route 55 in Haymarket, Prince William County, is just one of several KTE has completed this season with a mixture of evergreen and deciduous trees and shrubs that will provide an aesthetic screen as it matures.
