Description

This position is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating daily work activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. This role serves as the primary on-site leader and liaison between crew members, management, and clients.  We service Northern Virginia and Front Royal/Winchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise crew members on job sites
  • Plan daily tasks and assign work to meet project timelines
  • Ensure quality workmanship on maintenance and installation projects
  • Operate and oversee the use of tools, equipment and machinery
  • Train, motivate, and support crew members
  • Enforce safety procedures and company policies
  • Communicate with management and clients regarding job progress
  • Load materials, manage job-site organization, and maintain cleanliness
  • Track time, materials, and job progress as required
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of landscaping or irrigation experience, including leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of landscape or irrigation maintenance and/or installation practices
  • Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license (required)

LABORER; LANDSCAPE and IRRIGATION

Job Summary

This position assists with the installation, maintenance, and upkeep of outdoor landscapes and irrigation systems for commercial properties. This full-time, year-round role involves physical outdoor work, operating landscaping tools and equipment, and supporting crew leaders to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction.  We service Northern Virginia and Front Royal/Winchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, raking, weeding, mulching, and planting
  • Assist with landscape installation projects such as sod laying, shrub and tree planting, and hardscape preparation
  • Assist with installation and maintenance of in-ground irrigation systems, such as trenching and pipe/wire installation.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, hand tools)
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
  • Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications
  • Previous landscaping, irrigation or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Dependable, punctual, and reliable
  • Valid driver’s license is preferred, but not required
