Three Oaks Transplants and Entry [September 2026]

Trilogy at Three Oaks from Shea Homes is a new boutique 55-and-over community in Culpeper, Virginia.  This post follows an October 2024 post that showed the key statement oak trees for this neighborhood being tagged by several decision-makers at one of our growing partners in central Virginia. Both pin oaks (Quercus palustris) and swamp white oaks (Q. bicolor), 6- 8 inches in caliper and 20- 25 feet tall, were transplanted onto the job site in the spring of 2025 by a ninety-inch truck-mounted tree spade. Then we installed additional plants, annuals, sod, and irrigation, adding a burst of color and curb appeal. We will have additional posts forthcoming highlighting the sales and recreation center recently landscaped in the summer of 2026 as KT Enterprises [KTE] continues to be the landscaper of choice for the infrastructure in this new community.
