Tree Tagging [August 2024]

When one of our valued customers wanted to make a big impact on a new housing community outside of Culpeper, Virginia, they decided to invest in large trees and utilize KT Enterprises’s [KTE’s] expertise in fulfilling projects with unique needs. KTE coordinated with one of our ‘local’ growers who specialize in large trees. We brought together at the nursery the decision makers, including an owner representative, the architect and designer, and the site manager, to choose the exact trees they wanted for their project. After reviewing several good options, we decided in the field to tag swamp white oaks and pin oaks in the 6-8 inch caliper range and 20-30 feet in height. These native oak trees will be spaded directly from the nursery to the job site at the optimum time in the spring of 2025 and will provide an established look and add to the inviting entry of this new community that KTE will be landscaping.
