Kincora, Dulles/Ashburn, Virginia

The entry island for Kincora was highlighted back in January; since then KT has been continuing with this large project this spring with the installation of hardscapes, irrigation, lighting and plant material. Our project manager has been busy coordinating several trades and overlapping scopes and areas of work to pull this phase together. Extensive hardscaping/construction has progressed with colored concrete curbing and sidewalk being poured to form the skeleton and then irrigated tree pits with topsoil and plantings have been installed for greenspace. In addition two types of pavers have been installed between the tree pits along with stone seat walls. Finally, even the site furnishings have been installed by KT. The attention to detail from scoring lines in the concrete to the crisp planting lines of trees and shrubs continue to make this project and new community impressive.
