Moving Large Trees at Brambleton

KT Enterprises [KTE] has been on this jobsite in Brambleton long enough to have trees that we planted over fifteen years ago that we now have to move as mature trees from one location to another on the same property in order to make room for new construction. In order to get the job done quickly, we teamed up with two truck spade operators with 90” and 100” Big John tree spades. They were able to move fifteen trees ranging from 8” caliper London planes to 14-20 ft crepemyrtles and Norway spruces.  Instead of just cutting these trees down, our customer recognized the value of these trees, so KTE used them as a screening buffer next to new town homes.  Moving these trees with the large truck spade in the fall allows these trees to quickly acclimate to their new home.
