Crystal City Water Park [October 2023]

This newly-renovated 1.6 acre park in Arlington County, Virginia that was started in March of 2022 was completed this summer and had its grand opening in October. Within this small urban space, the community cannot only find a diverse mix of large and small trees, plants, and thousands of perennials, but also nine restaurant kiosks integrated with seating areas, lawn, a performance stage, public restrooms (the nicest you will find anywhere), art installations, and an updated water feature that anchors the park and gives it its namesake with the Water Bar at its pinnacle. While coordinating closely with numerous other trade in this tight work space, KT Enterprises [KTE] was responsible for the all the extensive plantings, soils, drainage, irrigation, boulders, and most of the site amenities (trash cans, benches, tree grates) to create an urban oasis where people, whether at work or play, can relax, socialize and get something to eat while enjoying this park and all it has to offer.
