Claude Moore Park at Moorefield [December 2023]

KT Enterprises [KTE] has done extensive work at Moorefield Station just off the Dulles Toll Road in Loudoun County, Virginia for the past several years. Our most recent project this past summer was a park dedicated to the man that started it all, Dr Claude Moore. Starting in 1931, and throughout his life, he invested in numerous properties in the area.  In 1987, he established the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation and turned his attention to philanthropy.  Parcels of the land, that he donated to his foundation, have been sold off to fund additional charitable projects and create an area for new communities to grow.  This park is dedicated to him with custom-made signage that gives a snapshot into his life and contributions.  KTE managed and provided all the integral facets of grading, planting, sodding, drainage, irrigation, pavers, signage, seating, and a play area. This park opened to the public in the spring of 2024 so that everyone can enjoy and learn about the life and giving of Dr Claude Moore.
